This workshop will provide the fundamentals design requirements for storage tanks and explain the various techniques available for safe site installation and achieving quality assured standards for the construction of storage tanks. It will teach maintenance strategies for the inspection, assessment repair and maintenance of storage tanks, as well as design code and standards for storage tanks, materials of storage construction and methods used for construction of storage tanks.

Certification and Material:
Each delegate will be provided with a manual of course material. This workshop carries 3 CPD points.
Participants will understand the principles of operation, installation, calibration, inspection and repair of pressure safety valves (PSV’s), as well as the statutory and code requirements of their use.

 Examine the origins and development of PRV’s, and code requirements, such as ASME Sections I and VIII.
 Identify the application and installation requirements of PRV’s
 Recognize the operational malfunctions of PRV’s
 Understand the inspection, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting and repair of PRV’s
 Identify critical inspection, lapping & grinding, assembly, testing and sealing requirements of safety relief valves
 Calibration safety relief valves and non-destructive examination of safety relief valves

Denzil Bazley, a registered Professional Engineer and holder of the Government Certificate of Competence (GCC Mech), having 30 years’ experience in maintenance and training in a variety of industries including oil and gas, FMCG, water and wastewater. He has trained in more than ten countries.
