The Central Branch Chairman and Committee would like you to join us a technical presentation and dinner on "Small Scale Own Power Generation", to be presented by Ken Gafner from SDE (Single Destination Engineering).

  • Own Generation - technologies available under 3 MW
  • Hurdles to on-site power generation
  • Regulatory compliance for onsite power generation
  • The importance of a “Combined Heat and Power” approach  
  • Fuels currently available for on-site generation
  • Potential fuel resources for the foreseeable future  
  • Reciprocating gas engines – where are they appropriate
  • MicroTurbine technology – An emerging successful CHP solution and how do they fit into the own generation market.
