Your profile information is restricted to other site community members who are your "connections” and is hidden from everybody else. You control your connections and thus have full control over who sees your profile information, and what profile information they see. Your ID number is particularly well protected and is only visible to you – never to anyone else. You can set the visibility of sensitive profile information by selecting Edit Bio from Manage Profile.
