Verified CPD Service Providers | ECSA CPD Licensed Bodies
SAIMechE is a CPD licensed body, in line with the ECSA continued professional development (CPD) requirements; ECSA CPD Licensed Body number: LB_037/2023. These requirements stipulate that CPD training providers need to be verified in order to offer appropriate learning in respect of Category 1 CPD Activities.
In terms of the Standard on Continuing Professional Development (ECPD-01-STA), a CPD Licensed Body is an organisation that is recognised through the powers of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), to verify CPD Service Providers and to validate CPD Category 1 Activities. The ECSA Licensed Body must warrant that the quality of the CPD Category 1 Activity is of an appropriate standard

To apply to become a verified CPD service provider, complete and submit form ECPD7 (CPD Service Provider Application Form), along with the requirements specified therein.
