Synopsis of course:

This course is a two day on-line course for Engineering Managers, Technical Managers, Engineers, Certificated Engineers, Technologists and Technicians from all disciplines.  This course is designed to bring a balance between the Technical and Financial worlds. 

Note: Candidates attending this course must have some basic accounting background or have completed Engineering Finance (1) or Engineering Finance (2).

Synopsis of course:

The course covers 6 modules and is as follows:

1. Introduction to basic financial concepts
2. Financial risk analysis and cost estimation under uncertainty
3. Financial accounting for engineers (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement)
4. Project Finance (Time value of money and Project justification)
5. Introduction to Funding of Technical Projects
6. Product Life-Cycle Costing
