The course shall provide an introduction to all aspects of conducting mechanical / structural Finite Element Analysis of piping and pressure vessels. The course is intended to provide mechanical engineers without prior knowledge of FEA the necessary knowledge and skills to start solving design / analysis problems by Finite Element Method. The course shall include a step-by-step presentation of building the model, applying boundary conditions and loads and evaluating results. The course will present detailed examples of the application of ANSYS in the solution of stress analysis problems of pressure vessels and piping.

Who should attend this course:

These courses are introductory (entry level) no prior knowledge of FEA is required. The only prerequisite is general mechanical engineering background.
